Seantwilson
Interesting oval, multi-layered rock found on lakeshore in southern Minnesota. Could this be a fossil?
Lone Hunter
It's probably a concretion but I think more/clearer pictures would be helpful.

GeschWhat
Welcome to the forum from a fellow Minnesotan! I agree that is a concretion of some sort. Chances of finding a fossilized egg in our state is about nil. We do have some interesting fossils. Due to glaciation of the state, most are sea creatures that lived during the Ordovician/Devonian. 1 Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo

Susannah Just google dinosaur eggs china and you'll find lots of them, although many of them which show can be fake. Dinosaur eggs France also brings some results. I don't think that any have ever been found in the UK, though, although maybe someone else here might know better? Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Susannah You all have something MUCH better than dino eggs. You have coprolites! 1 Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo

Perhaps if that brachi was an inclusion in a coprolite. 1 Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo
