Big Brook NJ Tooth??

Anna Marie

Recommended Posts

Hi, found this at Big Brook NJ and trying to determine if it's possible a Mosasaur or Croc tooth or stone/other. It's about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2" long. Thanks for any info!

Unfortunately, this is one of the numerous ironstone/bog iron concretions that litter the Jersey brooks.  :(

I agree that it is a concretion. Hopefully your next unidentified find will be a mosasaur tooth.
