Jellyfish from Calgary?

whatever it is, that is pretty cool.   Jelly fish are pretty tough to ID since they are so blobbish.  This could also be a trace fossil... something left it mark at the bottom of the lake.

I'm in the ichnofossil/sedimentary structure camp on this one.

This is how (already somewhat rotten) jellyfish from Solnhofen look like. A certain similarity is present, nevertheless I believe that this is rather a worm trace

I thought so also Kane but apparently it's laziness so that one doesn't have to use the shift button on the keyboard to initiates sentences, begin proper nouns etc. I complained about someone yelling in caps at me on another site and was told this. Not saying this is always the case (no pun intended) of course.
