It came from Alluvial gravels in creek where I've found other artifacts. Trying to learn to recognize when something has been worked, think this has, and the edge is quite sharp. JohnJ Posted April 29, 2021 Share Posted April 29, 2021 Given that you have found other stone artifacts in the same area, to me, it looks like a spall created from a larger core. The lack of consistent edge flaking makes this less likely to have been used as a tool. Artifact?
