RebMc74
I found this beauty in knights ferry, California. It is very different from anything I've collected yet. I am eager to get any ideas of what it is or how it formed? The strip along the top is defined and somewhat deep and the grooves all over it are also pretty deep. Rockwood
I'll be interested to learn that myself. It looks much like rocks I find on the shore of Moosehead Lake here in Maine. The bedrock here is turbidite. Formed in an underwater landslide.

FranzBernhard
Rock with lots of veinlets. Maybe two different rocks, the uppermost, blueish layer seems to be boudinaged. Boudinage (link to wikipedia) Franz Bernhard
