Khaled Geba
I found these photos in marbles coming from the North West of the Red Sea. Can any one help me in identifying them?? They sometimes look like Orthocone, but I´m not so sure! Many thanks in advance! Edited June 24, 2021 by Khaled Geba
Rockwood
Why do I feel the need to "adjust my set" ? Distortion aside they do appear to be nautiloids.

There appear to be individual camerae, even where the septa have been dislodged. A likely cause would be the presence of cameral deposits prior to deposition. Also some of the sectioning appears to show a siphuncle which is nearly fused with the outer shell.

Patterns like the ones in pictures 1,2,3 may look like transverse sections of rudist lower valves, while the patterns of specimen in picture 4 may reveal the internal structure of a rudist in longitudinal section, including the tabulae and other elements. picture 1,2,3 picture 4 reference: Molineux, Ann, Scott, Robert W., Ketcham, Richard A. and Maisano, Jessica A., 2007. Rockwood
So the "camerae" would have been filled by a reefs worth of calcium carbonate ? That would probably do it.
