Beachbumfinds
I found this on the beach in Englewood Florida one year. I have always wondered what it was. I just enjoy the hunt for sharks teeth and other fossils. It's very calming for me I've finally decided to learn about my collection. This is my most curious piece. This forum is so cool. Wish I would have looked for y'all a long time ago. I hope the pictures are done correctly and do it justice. Maybe it's just a rock but I love it. Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately, I'm seeing a water/sand worn rock. I see no enamel to indicate a tooth, or bone texture to indicate claw. I can totally understand why you would keep it, though. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Beachbumfinds
Oh well. My grandkids think it's a dinosaur tooth so I will let them believe it for now. It makes for a good story lol. Thank you for responding to my first post. I love this forum. I've been on it for hours.
Ludwigia
I agree with Tim that it's just a rock, but I would love it too. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
