Ryatt
I have no experience with fossils but have an interest in them. Shark teeth seem like an easy place to start. Are there any small ditches or creeks to search in Wilmington NC? I am visiting here and won't be long so anywhere close by would be great. I don't know of any creeks or streams, but the quarry at Castle Hayne used to allow fossil hunting 'Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.' Plax
Quarry closed to collecting for now. North Topsail beach at low tide is still pretty good from what I hear. Shark tooth island off river road park is a short kayak trip but in my opinion way over collected so you wouldn't find much. Especially without screening.
