Unknown fossil(?) from Port Mulgrave

Marine Bio

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I picked up this conical object (I'm currently reluctant to even commit to 'fossil') from the shore at Port Mulgrave, North Yorkshire. It was loose on the shore so unfortunately no certain stratigraphy either. I'd be happy with any thoughts or ideas of what it could be.

Thank you all so much in advance,

MarineBio
