James Ryan
I came across this interesting rock while in my favorite shark tooth river. Needless to say haven't noticed one of these before, maybe a couple times in the past year, none nearly as perfect or large... My question is if this would have been a Hadrosaur tooth. fossil_lover_2277
Looks way too big, at least compared to the hadrosaur teeth I’ve seen
Fossildude19
Nope. Sorry, not a tooth. No enamel, and it doesn't look anything like a hadrosaur tooth. 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." val horn
At a tenth or less of that size the central line would have suggested hadrosaur to me so I understand where you are coming from but hadrosaurs had a pavement of these small teeth even though they were very large animals
jpc
a large hadrosaur tooth would barely cover up the last joint in one finger. This is wayyyyy tooooo big.
