LyleB56
I saw this set of teeth on the beach in northwest Indiana. I wanted to know what they were from.
Coco
Cow or bison, not sure if it’s fossil. More advisories are coming. For your future photos, don't take your samples in your hands because they aren't a good indication of measurements (there are multiple sizes !) and it promotes blur. On the other hand, read my last link in my signature. If you don’t have a ruler, print out my document and put your fossils on it before taking your photo, making sure to leave one of the size boxes visible (pedagogical message). fossilus
White tailed deer, m3? Larger than mine, but they tend to be smaller in the south.
Harry Pristis
This appears to be a lower third molar (m3) from a deer-like selenodont artiodactyl. I'm thinking elk. Shellseeker
Just browsing. saw this post. I had not realized how close an Elk tooth might Mirror Llama/Camel, found this season in Florida. These are comparable sizes. Thinking about it, makes sense.
