Can someone please identify?

We found what looks like three fossilized fingers, a few miles north of Cedar Rapids, IA. Just wondering if anyone could possibly tell me anything about it...

It seems weird but I would just refers to your suggestion. That last picture seem to carry hints of it.

I think colonial rugose coral is a very likely possibility.
