Need ID help on this very large old tooth

My first thought was bison on this tooth but it just looks a little different than the rest of my collection. Possibly camel? North Central Nebraska, miocene. @Harry Pristis
length-APL= 42mm

width- TRW= 35mm

My guess is this is an upper cheek tooth from a protoceratid, perhaps a synthetocerine. This is a very large selenodont tooth, so that helps narrow the alternatives.  Not bovid, for sure, and not perissodactyl.

I am unaware of any common name for "protoceratid" or "synthetocerine."  These critters are uncommon and obscure fossils, at least here in Florida, and probably will never have common names.  And now, anyone who did some research has become a little bit more knowledgeable.  You're a winner who has a nice fossil.  :thumbsu:
