Please help identify this fossil. Some type of vertebra I believe. Thank you

Where was this found?  State, county, region???

Just FYI - Vertebra is singular vertebrae is plural. ;)

 Can you also post a photo of the opposing side? 

The top portion looks like its reattached, looks odd. 

Can you find out from the seller what was done?

Initially looks like a Tyrannosaurid vertebra but need that location information.  Thanks

Also need the formation it was found

Here are two more photos. One is the opposing side that you are asking for. Thank you very much. I will try to get location information this afternoon and will post it after I visit the person who sold it to me. Tom

certainly a theropod based on the immensely concave centrum, but who or from where.... Hard to say. And troodon's observation about possible mismatched pieces is a good point.

All - Thank you for your input. Unfortunately the person who sold it to me had it for decades and cannot remember where it is from :( I do appreciate all of your help.
