@fossilsonwheels sorry, but not really, there were three broken shark teeth with no roots, so can't ID them, and there was one nice little crinoid which looks like our Texas Solanocrinites. A few little pieces which I am pretty sure are echinoid mouth parts, but other than that, just some little crinoid and starfish bits and bobs.

Pleistocene  of Texas - probably turtle? I posted this when I found it at the very beginning of the year while vacationing on the Texas Coast in January. It is still my favorite fossil find of the year:

Love these star shaped crinoids. :b_love1: Plenty of crinoids to be had here, but most are the round variety.

@grandpa what prompted me to post it was a friend shared a post on FB of some beekite covered ammonites from Morocco and they were GORGEOUS!! The surface of this one looks a bit like those, but without the obvious rings, so i definitly think it is something along those lines...

Fossil for Today! Some Texas Cretaceous Petrified Wood! I was happy to stumble upon some rather "rare" Cretaceous Pet Wood in the Edwards Formation. Texas has LOTS of Eocene pet wood, but since our Cretaceous is mostly marine, finding wood is a bit unusual.
