While Foraminifera are often overlooked because they are so small, the Texas Cretaceous Orbitolina texanas sometimes get as big as 3/8 inch! I spent it in the park, talking to people about fossils! one of my new favorite finds - Usually I just find the dactyl of crab claws, but this one had dactyl and pollex (which i just found out is the unmoving finger of a crab claw..) I live right in the heart of Glen Rose Formation and they are SUPER abundant in parts of it. I have a whole jar full. Not all are preserved as well as this one, but if you'd like some, I'll be happy to send you some!
