I'd like to see an image of the left side (current photo orientation.) .

It looks like a chert/flint nodule, to me.

I'm not sure about the crinoid content without the specimen in hand, so I'm leaning toward banded chert/flint. I could be wrong.

I agree with abyssunder. Based on the second photo, it's a piece of flint. Banded flint for the first view is likely but a clearer photo would help.

I agree with it being flint (chert), but I think there is something else there. I could be completely wrong though.
