Fossil_Adult
Hey guys, I'm back from my trip out at sea. It was a very insightful and unforgettable experience. Learned a lot about the world around, and myself as well. anyways, enough about that, I went out to Douglas point yesterday and although it was a very short day, it was also extremely productive. Which included some pristine sand tigers, a perfect 1 1/2 inch croc, and a killer Otodus. Here’s everything good I found: (Idk why it goes in sideways but there’s the total of everything found). Front (or backside technically) of the best teeth found. Back (or technically front) side of the best teeth found. Anyways, that’s everything I found. Thanks for reading guys!

Adam86cucv
Nice finds. From your write up it leaves me wondering what happened, not that you have to share. Hopefully your experience was more positive than negative.

I was out for about a month and a half, sailing out on the ocean waters. My project was focused on trying to get fossils off the sea bottom, but alas, I found nothing. It was an amazing experience, and I would do it again if I had the chance.

My one cousin is a marine biologist and he's been all over the place from the gulf coast during sea turtle hatchings to the north Atlantic on a commercial fishing vessel surveying their catches to staying on a remote Aleutian island for several months. Fossil_Adult
Thanks a lot guys! Hoping to get out there more this weekend. Would y’all recommend purse or Douglas as a spot? The only reason I’m thinking purse is because I haven’t been there in years.
Snaggletooth19
I prefer Douglas myself. The hike is a little longer, but it tends to be less crowded.
