I found a few days ago this fragment of ammonite, (Cretaceous).
I was wondering if any of you might recognize her.

Do you know the Formation or more precise age?

If it is Aptian or Albian it might be a Hamites.

Don

It is from the Cenomanian Cretaceous.

Looking on the internet I found a certain publication that says:

(Hamites is a genus of heteromorph ammonites that developed in the late Aptian stage of the Early Cretaceous and lasted into the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous. ....................................... ) If this is correct, Hamitas fits the age.

Thank you very much for the reply.. :Smiling:
