Scuby109
A seller on online has this up for sale. Does this look legit? or more just like a rock that looks like a fossil? It measures 4 inches and weighs just under 2 lbs.
Kane
I will say this one is also just a rock. These guides may help you better discern eggs from imposters: 2 2 ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
jpc
This is the second one you've posted. Avoid this dealer... he/she knows not what he/she has. 1
Ludwigia
Not another one. Please pay heed to jpc's advice and seriously start your education on dinosaur eggs before you get ripped off again. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. westcoast
These are rocks on a storm beach. None of them are eggs .
digit
Yes. Just another worn cobble. Just because this rock has a generally rounded shape and eggs have a generally rounded shape does not make the former the latter. There is no eggshell texture on this one. It is in no way an egg. If these are all from a particular dealer, I'd suggest looking elsewhere as they clearly do NOT have any fossilized eggs for sale. Cheers. -Ken
FB003
There's one particular seller online selling rocks as dinosaur skulls too. Quite alot of them at that. Avoid those as well. *Frank*
Mark Kmiecik
Avoid the fossil embryos and dinosaur heads as well. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
Phos_01
Sometimes it's sad we can't see who sells these bad or fabrication fossils. Just to help everyone losing their money and time with bad dealers. Ive stumbled on many bad fossils online also that are sold vs thousands. But I get it can't turn into a witch-hunt over here.

Discussion of dealers is a liability minefield for other websites. Thieves, the uninformed, and "good" dealers have all sold "bad fossils". TFF is not the venue to sort them out. The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
