toothseeker
Hi All! I am new to the fossil hunting world and have become addicted! I do most of my hunting with my Dad in NJ, SC, and FL. I have attached pictures of two recent finds that I need help identifying. First 4 photos are specimen 1 and next 4 photos are specimen 2. Both were found diving in Venice. Also attached a picture of our first 5.5” meg! Thanks so much!! Katrina
Fossildude19
First item looks like a whale tooth. We may need a view of the broken side of item 2. @Harry Pristis @Shellseeker @Boesse 1 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Brandy Cole
I'm far from an expert but item two reminds me of a large mammal scapular head in the fourth picture.

Boesse
I'd wager sea cow scapula and the tooth is a partial sperm whale tooth. 1
Shellseeker
For comparison: Note the the dentine "rings" around the body of the tooth and florida_manatee_trichechus_manatus_left_scapula_posterior_flmnh_15195 1 The White Queen ".... in her youth she could believe "six impossible things before breakfast"
