Ferriby Chalk piece - tubercle?

Hunstanton, Ferriby Chalk, Cretaceous, Cenomanian.

When I found this piece I was looking for echinoids, so saw it and thought tubercle. I've kept it with my Ferriby echinoids, but I'm not convinced that's what this is, there's nothing about it to me that looks echinoid except for this little tubercle like shape. 20220221_211236.thumb.jpg.243c91264ac8b553b8d1a6dba3d46102.jpgBeside it is another similar ring. If it's part of a test, something really bad happened to it, it must be a broken folded test. But I was wondering if I was always on the wrong track with the idea it was echinoderm related.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
