Lucid_Bot
Just looking over some of my finds from my Florida trip. Not quite sure which are fossils and which are just stones. All help is appreciated. All were found in the Peace River. First specimen: pics 1-3; second: pics 4-6; third: pics 7 & 8; fourth: 9 & 10; fifth: 11 & 12.
Top Trilo
The first one looks like a porcupine fish or burr fish mouth plate. The others are bone pieces, not sure they can be further identified. 1 3 “If fossils are not "boggling" your mind then you are simply not doing it right” -Ken (digit) "No fossil is garbage, it´s just not completely preserved” -Franz (FranzBernhard) "With hammer in hand, the open horizon of time, and dear friends by my side, what can we not accomplish together?" -Kane (Kane) "We are in a way conquering time, reuniting members of a long lost family" -Quincy (Opabinia Blues) "I loved reading the trip reports, I loved the sharing, I loved the educational aspect, I loved the humor. Meganeura
Gonna confirm that first specimen is burrfish mouth plate, and the second and second last are almost certainly dugong bone fossils due to how dense they are, the third and fifth however I'm not sure. 1 Fossils? I dig it.
