Meganeura Posted May 30, 2022 Share Posted May 30, 2022 (edited) I'm pretty sure - having found a whole bunch of those myself - that it's a very worn down horse tooth. It's definitely worn, and it's definitely a tooth though. I don't believe it's from a mammoth but I could be wrong. Here's a horse tooth from @Shellseeker from a few years ago - you can probably imagine how the river would wear it down to look like what you have. Mind you, reading further into the post, @Harry Pristis thinks it could be a mammoth tooth plate fragment, so I stand correct, it could be both. Edited May 30, 2022 by Meganeura Fossils? I dig it.
