COOL FINDS
Found this piece earlier in the year around Benbrook. Specimen is around 9" in diameter and 3" in thickness and weighs around 4 lbs. Was pink in color, but since has paled to a dull white.
JohnJ
This is a modern coral specimen that has been discarded. Do an image search on brain corals. 2 The human mind has the ability to believe anything is true. - JJ
COOL FINDS
Thanks. Wonder why someone would deposit it in a body of water that it doesn't belong in? Guess that is is why all sorts of invasive species are distributed all over the place. The majority of lakes in North Texas have been infested with zebra mussels. Golden algae killed millions of fish on the Brazos river chain of lakes starting back in 2000-2001.
