Annab
Hi! My son found this in France in a river, region center , it’s quite unusual so I thought I’d show it to you guys. Any thought? IMG_3992.MOV
Ludwigia
Looks to me like just that: an interestingly shaped rock. I don't think that this is a fossil, but it certainly would help if you could pinpoint the exact location and stratigraphy for us. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. On the contrary, I am seeing elements of a steinkern of some coral. - stratigraphy is indeed needed, though. ~ Isaac; www.isaactfm.com "Don't move! Annab
It was found in the river Nere in Aubigny sur Nere, (47.4931636, 2.4335428) it was directly under a large tree which fell down a few years ago.
marguy
Around Aubigny sur Nere, mostly flint sands, products resulting from the alteration of Cretaceous marine deposits e/cS and alluvium Fw, but I have no idea for your rock sample
IsaacTheFossilMan
Do you know any rough stratigraphic unit this is from? ~ Isaac; www.isaactfm.com "Don't move!
