Alston Gee
The seller told me that both teeth belong to Brachauchenius lucasi. What do people here think? Edited August 14, 2022 by Alston Gee

rocket
you know this? Brachauchenius - Amphibians & Reptiles - The Fossil Forum looks similar to me, we had some teeth from same site and they all look like Plio, perhaps Brachauchenius
pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon
Following Madzia (2016), the teeth of Cretaceous pliosaurs are so similar to one another that distinction between genera and species is, at present, impossible save for based on the locality and formation they were found in. As Brachachenius lucasi is a species known from the US, it's uncertain whether this same species, or even genus, occurred in Morocco as well. Thus, while the above teeth do belong to Cretaceous pliosaur species from the Akrabou Formation, they would best be identified as brachaucheninae indet. 'There's nothing like millions of years of really frustrating trial and error to give a species moral fibre and, in some cases, backbone' -- Terry Pratchett
