Ben Daniels
Hi All, I acquired this piece of fossilised bone fragment recently and was assured that the specimen was Spinosaurus and came from the Kem Kem group, unfortunately I was not able to gather which formation it was from within the group. Although this piece is fragmentary, its hour glass shape and the thin ridges along each side give me hope that someone would know where on the skeleton this bone is from. I've done some quick research and found that Spinosaurus vertebrae are of similar shape but I am not 100% confident that it is a vert. If anyone has any idea which bone it could be, that would be brilliant (apologies for quality of the side images, my camera had trouble focusing on the thin ridge) Edited August 21, 2022 by Ben Daniels
Troodon
You should ask the seller how he came up with a positive Spinosaurid ID and especially from a Spinosaurus
