Fin Lover
I seem to still be very unsure on determining the presence of a bourlette on very worn teeth (since I think this is my third tooth and post with a similar issue). I think maybe I just don't want to mistakenly call something a meg, if it isn't. Would you say this tooth has a bourlette, albeit a very worn one? Thanks for the help! 2 Fin Lover
Fin Lover
Sorry, should have added...my usual location (Ladson/Summerville area), with multiple epochs present. Have found both angustidens and a meg in an adjoining creek. Edited September 1, 2022 by Fin Lover Fin Lover

debivort
Yep, I agree. This is the portion (roughly) I would call the bourlette. 1
Meganeura
Agreed - that's a Meg! A very pretty looking one at that! 1 1 Fossils? I dig it.
