Hi everyone I’m looking for a ID on this tiger tooth bought from Indonesia, it comes from Java island Solo.

Possibly from which extinct tiger.

The root is too bulbous for a tiger. I'd say it's a fake root

Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!

Do Tiger Canines look like that? The crown looks like the big Elosuchus (croc) teeth I've seen from the Kem Kem.

Yeah, the first one looks a composite, the second is a croc tooth

Yeah after looking at some modern Tiger canines, that is not from a cat. The blade/ carinae/ whatever you call it on mammal teeth goes front to back, not side to side like on this one.

Yes my thoughts also. The root to me looks like a piece of rib bone fixed to a large croc tooth but can’t see where they have joined it. Could it be possible to be a rooted croc tooth?
