fifbrindacier
Hi, your first photo shows a nautilus or a goniatite. To know it for sure, we need a photo of it's opening face to see if there is a siphonal structure. I bet the nautilus or goniatite and the ammonite come from Madagascar if they do come from there they should be from the Albian age. But to be sure we need to know where your fossils come from and what is their geological age. fifbrindacier
If your teeth are from some part in Northern Africa, they could be from Ypresian phosphat sites that can be found from Morocco to Tunisia. That's a very wide area, so, it would be better if you could provide us with a more precise location. @sharkdoctor Edited November 13, 2022 by fifbrindacier 1 "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." fifbrindacier
Thank you for the photos. I'm sure now that it isn't a Nautilus because there is no trace of a siphon (the little hole you see on the photo i posted) and they don't have openings with that shape. I'm certain this is a goniatite, though i know people here know better about cephalopods than me. If this is a Moroccan one, it could Come from Erfoud ans be Devonian, not at all the same age than Albian. But without any information from where they come from and what is their geological age, it will be impossible to go further than that. I hope other members will shime in.
