Cactus or just a nodule / concretion ?

Another piece found in the badlands of Alberta.

Could it be a cactus ? Or just a interesting looking concretion?

Any help identifying much appreciated.

Thanks !

I think this is a concretion or a septaria.

I'm sure that's not a cactus.

Interesting structures. As in your requested in your other post, please tell us exactly where in Alberta it was found and also the stratigraphy if possible.

The patterns remind me of a huge post were was presented a very particular septaria that puzzled the members of the forum for a while, but i can't find it back.

It mostly reminds me that part :

I think we have the same kind of phenomenon here.

Same spot as the other one : Red Deer River (close to Drumheller).
Thank you all for your input !
