EarlGreyTea
I live in south western Kentucky. I was walking my dog and saw some interesting looking rocks and picked this one up and kinda looked like a fossil. Just curious… thanks for taking the time to look at it
hadrosauridae
Interesting. ITs hard to tell from the photos but it certainly looks like it could be some bone material. Definitely need to see some good, clear, well-lit images. "There is no shortage of fossils. Fossildude19
Sorry, but I am not seeing fossil bone here. Looks like a degraded cherty limestone. There may be a small crinoid columnal imprint, but not seeing much else here. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Rockwood
This may be something of interest. Crinoid calyx ? Or maybe the feature in the center is the pedicle opening of a brachiopod ?
