Shale_stack
Is this a Leptaena sp. from the Devonian (Mahantango Fm) of Pennsylvania? Perhaps a L. rhomboidalis? 3
Tidgy's Dad
Yes, I'm pretty sure that this is Leptaena rhomboidalis. Nice. 2 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Fossildude19
Nice Leptaena. + Just as an FYI - when taking pictures for ID, they should be taken from directly above the item, rather than at an oblique angle. Angled images can obscure/distort features. Put the item on a flat, solid colored surface, and position the camera/phone above the item. If it is 3 dimensional, take pictures of all 6 sides. If using a phone camera, natural light is almost always better.
