Unknown fish?

Hi,

 

Can anyone help id this fish? No provenance or identification info whatsoever. The slab measures a little under 15 cm long.

Looks like a Knightia eocaena to me.

Could use some more prepping to expose the fossil more.

 

Correct orientation:

Thank you, I know next to nothing about fish so it never crossed my mind.

Could be Knightia, but with that body thickness would it be more likely to be an alta rather than an eocaena?

Hard to say with it still needing some prep, but I doubt it.

It's actually not mine, just something I saw for sale and was curious about.
