Split up serrations on a Megalodon tooth

Aquired a big megalodon tooth who seemed to have certain deformation/pathology to a certain extent. However, it looks like serrations has started to split off in two directions? I'm not familiar with this at all.

 

Anyone who is more familiar with megalodon and shark teeth that can help?

Shark teeth are well known for a variety of pathological growth forms due to disease or injury. This appears to be an interesting bifurcation at the edge of the tooth. Anything similar on the opposite side?

Sometimes the serrations can take a different angle when they get close to the root, pictures of the whole tooth including the other side would help.
