Rock? Bone? Something else?

I bought this about 20 years ago when I purchased my dinosaur egg. For the life of me I have no clue what it is. It could be a rock for all I know. Any input is greatly welcomed:)2212A20C-26B8-471B-8796-451310D4F7D3.thumb.jpeg.561a9f8ae9345d905014c8295c8716a6.jpeg

Looks like oolitic limestone to me.

I have another odd one. Would it be more appropriate to start a new feed or continue here? I am new and I don’t want to do something wrong. It may not even be a fossil. However, it is the biggest nearly perfectly round something, possibly rock again, I’ve ever seen.

Here’s another weird one. My papa and I used to collect rocks together. He came home one day and gave me the roundest rock I’d ever seen. I was over the moon and over 40 years later I still am, because it reminds me of him. Anyone have an idea what it is?

That is a very round rock!  Someone once posted something similar and it was suggested to be a ball mill (which I had not heard of before) which are used to grind and/or mix materials.    They are usually made of metal (not yours) or ceramic.  I don't know, just tossing out a possibility.  It doesn't seem quite perfect enough for a ball mill, but it is very round for a naturally weathered rock, but that can happen.

I would polish it with some 1500 sandpaper unless of course you're fine with it like that.
