iglyphics
I just bought this dinosaur egg fossil and would like opinions on its authenticity. It is spheroid, 3 inches in diameter, porous and pitted texture. Cracks present as one would expect in a fractured shell. Thanks for any insights. Tidgy's Dad
Did you read This looks like a concretion to me, possibly sandstone. It seems layered, doesn't have eggshell texture and if that were a shell, it's too thick for the baby to break out. 7 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend. Randyw
I’m seeing a concretion also.
JBkansas
Concretions can contain fossils, might not be a bad idea to break it open and see what's inside.
RJB
I'm always late for the party, but yeah, this is not an egg, it's a concretion. Like JBKansas has said, there might be a fossil inside? Good luck RB
