Shark tooth

Hi I've never seen a shark tooth with out its enamel. Found in Sonoma County, California by Russian River. Anyone know what kinda shark it could be from?

Looks like the hinge of an oyster, not a tooth.

Agreed, this is not a shark tooth but instead a piece of coral
