Sorry for the bad pictures it’s hard to get a good one with this but from the pics that I have does this look like amber or something else?

seems to be amber, but could be something other. Try if it swims in salty water

Do you know where it comes from? Did you find it yourself?

Now that you say it, I see faint banding in the photo with the light that could indicate agate.

 

OP:  Is it very light?  Amber is essentially natural acrylic

Looks to be a piece of roughly polished amber, one way to be able to tell is to do the float test, all you have to do is mix two cups of warm water with a quarter cup of salt in a bowl, then stir the mixture until the salt has completely dissolved. Once you have done this, place the piece of amber in the solution. If the piece of amber floats then it is indeed authentic amber.
