Lance Formation Sediment #4

Don't forget to put size on your post.  Not sure if we are looking at something 1 inch to 10 inches.

Those look like bone fragments.  Not sure what that tooth looking object can be is it big or small?  Does not look like a tooth

Here is what I see....

the first is a small rounded chunkosaur.

The second looks more plant-y.  Can we see a view of the cross section?

3... I see a gar scale and something else

things like No 4 are generally only identifiable after you prep them out.

I've cleaned up number 4 quite a bit.

@jpc the large round piece is plant like or the small pointy piece?

2 reminds me of skull or ceramic like in that it's pretty uniform if I look closely it has little lines throughout however it is much smoother than dinobones I'm used to. Here's a closeup of the texture

There are some pretty smooth Edmonto bones that fan out, that thickness in the pelvic area like a pubis

I have another fanned out piece from a different location this one is Hell Creek while all the others were Lance. Could this also possibly be pubis related?

Both sides shown below @Troodon

The cross section photo is out of focus, but it looks like sandstone inside suggesting that the pattern is bone impressioon.

use a dental pick r reasonable facsimile and take the grains out one at a time until you hit internal bone texture.  Or take a closer up photo In Focus of that edge... : )

For all I know it's tumbled stone as the sediment came from wash material
