A question about "Treatise on Invertebrate Paleontology"

Since I have a pdf copy, how can I understand the real specimens dimensions if it's not used a scale bar but a "paper ratio" (see attached picture) for every fossil picture? I don't know the real picture size.

Thanks a lot!

I've just measured my few (7) Treatise volumes and there is some slight variation in page height:  245 ± 2mm, so 245mm should be accurate enough. :)

It’s annoying to see when this method for providing scale is used. I suppose it worked ok when in print form and saved adding a bunch of scale bars to a figure.
but I’m a digital age when sometimes you are looking on a phone, tablet or laptop, not so good anymore!
