Mojigoji
Recently went an area known for pleistocene and pliocene material in North Carolina. Stumbled upon what has me wondering is either a tusk or a tooth of some kind. I did find mammoth material there, but never a tusk. But because there's also pliocene, not sure if it's something from then. Would love to know what you all think
Meatasaurus93
I don't see any Schreger lines present on either of the exposed ends, so it's doubtful that it's a tusk of some sort. I'm not an expert on tusks, though, so maybe someone else might have a better answer for you.

sixgill pete
I'm not sure what you have, but I do not think it is whale nor tusk. I have whale teeth from many locations in North Carolina from the Eocene, Oligocene Miocene and Pliocene This reminds me of none of them.
