Bone Daddy
I found this little piece of jawbone that has some curvature to it that initially caught my eye and upon closer examination it appears to have a tooth root in one of the sockets. My first guess is cetacean of some kind. Is that right, or am I way off? I'm not sure if it's marine or not. Thanks in advance!
digit
Hard to see from the photos (a little dark) if the bone texture is appropriate but multiple round tooth sockets (alveoli) give me a gator feel to it. There is a slight curvature so it would be toward the snout. Cheers. -Ken

I've found some recent gator material in the same area, but none of it was black and hard like this. (Teeth yes, scutes and bones no)
