Tooth Tuesday

Should probably post more in this forum section since we’re doing multiple hikes a week but here’s a couple cool finds from today out in the dinosaur park formation. The wildfires here in Alberta have been raging wild, the smoke finally made it this far south. Here’s a couple nice tyrannosaur teeth, thankfully we found the big one when we did, would have exploded soon. It’s probably around 2.5 inches haven’t measured it yet.

Awesome tooth! The smoke has been in Maryland for the past 2-3 days. Made for interesting sunrise and sunsets. 

Be careful out there. BTW, what river is that?

Oh wow weird that you got it first. This is the red deer river.

Awesome finds! The dinosaur park formation is still on my bucket list. I'm going to the drumheller badlands this weekend, and I hope I can find a tooth!

check crevices coming down the hills, that’s where I find most of them. Hopefully you get to them before the weather explodes ‘em. 
 

Shouldn’t need to be said but make sure you’re aware of what land you’re on, a lot of that area is either park land or private.
