Point-a Barracuda Tooth

Over the years I have found several barracuda teeth from this Eocene site, but it was not until this last outing that I found out all of them had been mere internal structures. This new one is "perfect". Evidently, the enamel must be very thin and gets worn away easily. Sorry for the picture quality but did this with handheld camera. The specimen on the left is what I have been finding.

Gorgeous! Congrats.

Thanks also for the end view; I've recently discovered that I need to pay attention to the internal structure of fossil teeth.
