Mineral Wells Ammonite Id

It's a transported fossil since Mineral Wells is exclusively Pennsylvanian strata.

It looks like an Oxtropidoceras ammonite. It could be from the Glen Rose, Walnut, or Goodland fomations.

You can get some good quality Oxys from the creeks and drainages in west Tarrant county; Mary's Creek, Walnut Creek.

I found this is what i think to be a cretaceous layer in a field behind a Mineral Wells movie theater.Hope i can get an id with it only being a fragment.

Thanks,

Cody
