acewhips
I spent the afternoon in Post Oak Creek with my 8yr old and found some fun stuff. Pics #1-2 are what I thought to be a shrimp or small lobster carapace? Everything found on gravel bars in a creek the maps show to be upper Cretaceous. #3-6 are pics of a bone and vertebrae I can't ID. Any ideas? And some of the standard shark teeth in POC, along with a couple of really nice ptychodus.
CreekCrawler
Nice haul! Pictures 3 and 4 look like white tailed deer vertabrae to me. The top two pictures look like a coprolite.
kknight
I've seen those crustaceans fossils out there a lot, no idea what they are though. Here are some of mine for referance. MikeD
I've got a couple of those crustaceans myself. fossiladdict has quite a few. You can see them in her past posts on POC. Very cool.
