Auspex
I find it of note that the basic premise of paleontology ("as happens now, happened then") is being reversed as climate change starts to dominate scientific research: "As happened then might predict what happens next". Trends are now important, and one must look back in order to recognize them; the ability to think beyond the span of awareness may mark the great triumph of the human mind. (I don't give one sniff about the exploits of Ms. Hilton). "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease!
