Greenhorn Hunt With Tff Member

A couple weeks ago Petrol Pete was up in my neck of the woods, so my wife and I took him out to a few spots to look for something cool. We found a few shark teeth, and fish teeth, along with this section I'm fairly certain is Pachyrhizodus jaw. Forgot to get any pictures of us hunting, but we had a good time, and found some nice stuff. Pete gave me a couple blastoids that seem to elude me whenever I go looking for them, so I was thankful to finally get a couple in my collection. Here's a few pictures from our hunt. Not real sure what that little tooth is in the 3rd picture. Any ideas?

All nice, especially the partial jaw.

While the Niobrara seems to get all the attention, the Greenhorn does provide some nice matrix for specimens.

Context is critical.

Excellent finds you have got!!!!

Courious on what could that be, as well. Isn't it possible to remove that bit of the matrix over it???

Very cool whatever it is!!!

Here it is cleaned up a little. Probably just another shark tooth.

Ramo -

I wonder if that jaw is an Ichthyodectes. (It's awesome by the way!) The teeth seem too close together for a Pachy....

You're right on. It is Ichthyodectes. I haven't seen enough of either to be that familiar with them.
